Dr. Rinat Rosenberg-Kima

Dr. Rinat Rosenberg-Kima is the Head of the Mindful Learning Technologies Lab in the Faculty of Education in Science and Technology at the Technion -  Israel Institute of Technology, where she also serves as the Head of the Computer Science Education Program.  Her research at the Mindful Learning Lab combines three areas: (1) Computer Science Education, (2) Human-Robot Interaction, and (3) Educational Technologies, where the overall goal is to utilize technology to gain a deeper understanding of the processes involved in learning and to promote it using technology from a holistic cognitive-affective perspective. Rinat’s interdisciplinary academic background includes a BA in Computer Science and Economics from Tel-Aviv University, an MA in Psychology from Tel-Aviv University, and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Learning Systems from Florida State University. Previously, Rinat led the analytics team in a science education digital curriculum development project at the Lawrence Hall of Science, UC Berkeley. Rinat is also a graduate of the first year of Sagol School of Neuroscience’s Minducate program, where she researched educational social robots as facilitators of collaborative learning at the Curiosity Lab, the Faculty of Engineering at Tel-Aviv University.
